๐Ÿ” How BMI is calculated

The BMI is calculated by dividing an adult's weight in kilograms by their height in metres squared.

For example, if a patient weighs 70kg and is 1.70m, then BMI is calculated by:

  1. Squaring height in metres: 1.70 x 1.70 = 2.89

  2. Dividing by weight in kilograms: 70 รท 2.89 = 24.22

The calculated BMI will be displayed in one decimal place, for example, 24.2.
