Can patients be excluded from Automated Recall

You can exclude patients from receiving automated messages from Abtrace

Yes, this is possible. In order to do this there are a couple of steps:

1. Make sure that you are happy that you do NOT want the patient to be automatically contacted by Abtrace 

2. Add the code Recall postponed (finding) - 185556008 to the patient record

3. Head to the 'Rules Management' section of the User Management Portal and search for 'exclude' in the Register section

4. Toggle on the exclusion rule you want to activate for your practice. 

5. you can start excluding patients from specific recalls that you build. To do so, make use of the Exclusions box when building your recalls in the Population View.

NB: just adding the code to the notes will not automatically exclude these patients, you also need to turn the rule on for your practice in the User Management Portal.
