Why am I seeing the message 'Exceeded maximum limit of patients to contact' in my Automation Execution report?

This can happen when all patients who meet the recall criteria have already been contacted and are not yet eligible to receive another message.

For example, the recall may be set to contact up to 100 patients each time it runs, with a filter preventing the same patient from being contacted again within 28 days. If only 26 patients meet the recall criteria and all 26 have already been contacted during that period, no messages will be sent when the weekly search runs.

Once 28 days have passed, any patients who still meet the recall criteria will become eligible to be contacted again. Any new patients who meet the criteria during that period will be contacted the next time the recall runs.
