What does the Grey dot mean after the NHS number on some patients in Population view?
In the Population View, a grey dot appears next to the NHS number for any patient whose record has been accessed by expanding their row and clicking one of the following buttons:
- Open in Patient View
- Open in EMIS/SystemOne
This indicates that you have initiated viewing their record directly from the Population View.
The grey dot remains visible for 4 hours, serving as a visual indicator to help you track which patient records have recently been reviewed.
Note: The grey dot will reset once the user logs out, ensuring a fresh view for each session.
